Bow WOW Art Dog Event – Summer 2021

The completed Art Dog statues are on displayed around downtown Ridgefield, CT throughout the summer.

A dog “parade”, presented by ArtFul and in collaboration with ROAR, will include a map designating the locations of all completed statues is available at Town Hall and area businesses. Save the date: Join us on Saturday, September 18th to close out the Dog Day of Summer in Ridgefield, CT and celebrate our most beloved and trusted friends.  From 12pm – 5 pm, all are invited to participate in the “Find The Hot Dog Scavenger Hunt”.

Bow WOW Art Dogs Fundraiser Event – September 25, 2021

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, the dog statues will “fetch” a good “fur-ever” home at the Leader of the Pack Event at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. The event will benefit ROAR Animal Rescue, The Ridgefield Guild of Artists, and ArtFul Visual Arts Initiative. 

Artist Retreat Weekend 2020

Private Event

On the weekend of October 3-4, 2020, Artful Visual Arts Initiative will be coordinating a weekend Artist Re-“treat”.  Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hudson River Valley, resident artists will be transported each day from Ridgefield, CT to the beauty of the Hudson River Valley for a two-day plein air painting seminar conducted under the professional hand of artist Tony Curanaj.  Artists will begin the day with a meet-and-greet with the artist over a continental breakfast held at the historic carriage house that once belonged to the famed writer Clement Moore.  Upon receiving a full bag of professional art supplies sponsored by Trekell Brushes and Art, the artists will be transported to the Rockefeller Preserve for a day of painting.  This event will adhere to the necessary standards of safety and social distancing.
